Motu Returns and refunds.
How It Works
- Step 1: Initiate A Return
You must request to return within 7 days of receiving the products, via our email hello@motubyronbayfurniture.com
Our Team will then get in touch with you.
- Step 2: Collection
We'll send you a return label to accompany your product. Re-package your item in its original box, and return delivery will be at your expense.
- Step 3: Receive & Refund
We'll receive your order back in our warehouse. We then inspect the item to ensure both it and the packaging are in good condition, and then process your refund in 3-5 business days, if approved.
Return Shipping Costs
Returns are subject to a return shipping fee.
The return shipping information will be provided by our staff after you complete the returns form. Additionally, the initial delivery cost will be deducted from your refund.
Please note that during Free Shipping Promotions, both the delivery charge to and from your location will be deducted from your final refund value for returns.
Exclusions
The following items are exempt from returns:
- Items marked as "clearance" and items discounted by over 40% off RRP.
- Any ex-display items purchased from our Showroom or Warehouse Sales.
- Items with a "Made to Order" or "Special Order" description in their lead time.
Return Packaging
To facilitate returns, we require products to be packed in their original packaging. Therefore, we recommend exercising care when opening items and retaining packaging until you are certain you won't return the item.
For returns, it is your responsibility to ensure that items are returned to Motu Byron Bay Furniture in the same condition as they were received. Motu Byron Bay Furniture is not liable for any damage that may occur during the return of items, either by the customer or the courier.
If you have a VIP delivery service and are considering a return, kindly request the delivery partner to leave the packaging at your home so the products can be repackaged.
In the event you lack packaging and cannot provide a product in its original condition, we may impose a restocking fee or be unable to accept the Change of Mind return.
Returns to Our Warehouse

Please be aware that products must still go through our Return Form and receive approval from our Support Staff before being returned.
Returning items to our Warehouse without prior approval will result in denial or may incur a restocking fee.
